Hi my name is Ryan, I am 20 years old and I mainly reside in Scarborough, North Yorkshire
Role:
It was my job to create this brand new website for Alopecia Awareness and now I spend my spare time maintaining it, adding new content, supporting all our users and fixing any problems that they find.

No, I got this job through Leanne Flavell the organisation leader who thought it would be a good idea to rope me into the team and get me doing something useful!
Real Job:
I am currently in my final year of studying Computer Science and the University of Sheffield, after which I hope to become some sort of technical genius :)
Hobbies & Interests:
Unfortunatly with all my University assignments and various other projects I have on the go, I don't get as much relaxation time as I would like (or as leanne would put it, I don't get out much). I enjoy getting involved with anything technical whether its DIY, fixing the car or adding cool new bits to my computer! and when I do find some free time I enjoy walking along the seafront, listening to music and long drives in the countryside (during the few weeks in summer when its not raining that is!). I have also really got into surfing this summer (keeping it real).
Family:
Mum, Dad, little sister (Abigail). During term-time I live in a house in Sheffield with two friends from University.

I became involved with Alopecia Awareness last year when I was approached by Leanne and asked if I would be interested in designing a website for them. I never imagined the amount of work that would be involved so I accepted. The growth of this organisation over the last year has been amazing and every effort has been put into making sure this website is as good as we hoped it would be.
