24/7 Support

Here at Alopecia Awareness, we understand the importance of support being available when you need it! regardless of the time or day. With the help of this page, you will be able to find all the help and support you may need, wherever you are.

Support Groups

We try to provide local support group contacts no matter where you live as most people who suffer with hair loss will agree that the healing power of talking to people and sharing every day coping tips for every day situations is amazing. It also helps to have that support network outside of your friends and family, people who know the emotions you may have or may be feeling!

If there are no support groups within your area at the moment please contact a member of the alopecia awareness team and we will liaison with other groups and organisations, to find the nearest to you. If we are unable to help in this way (there is an unfortunate lack of support groups in the UK at the moment) then you may consider starting up your own support group, which we will help you with of course!

User Forums

Our forums allow you to leave messages for all other users from all areas that are also registered on the forum. This will allow you to have your say or ask other people of all ages and situations for their experiences. This is another place where you can meet people in similar situations to your own and share information, feelings and views.

Live Chat Rooms

You can also talk to people in our live chat rooms, this is another opportunity to have your say and liaise with people from around the country. We even have a resident computerised chat robot to keep you company when nobody else is around (though he doesn't always play with a full deck of cards!)

The Team

Finally, if you would prefer to speak to a member of the Alopecia Awareness team then please do not hesitate to do so using our Contact Section and we will do our best to reply as soon as we can.
