In 2005, Alopecia Awareness began its work to help, support and advise anyone who experiences hair loss.
Since 2005 the group has helped many people, men, women and children living with alopecia and hair loss, as well as their families and friends who may not be experiencing the condition first hand but want to support their friends and loved ones.
Understanding and coming to terms with hair loss is a hard journey in itself. Alopecia Awareness can guide you through the condition, advise you of the best way forward and offer recommendations and ways of coping with the day to day challenges of living with hair loss.
Alopecia Awareness are delighted to be working alongside the BeBold Support Group based in the North East of England, and also the Alopecia Areata Support Group to combine forces and work together to raise awareness of this difficult and traumatic condition.
Together we are stronger!
